Bailey Doesn't Bark is a New York based design studio offering both functional and sculptural ceramics made by hand by founder Re Jin Lee. Each piece is a unique assembly of individually rolled out clay slabs created by a 'hand and clay' collaboration inspired by the contemplative process of ceramics and belief in simplicity.
BDB founder Re Jin Lee was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil to South Korean parents. This combination of cultures has a great influence in Re Jin's design aesthetics.
After receiving degrees in fashion and design at FASM, Central Saint Martins, London College of Design and Istituto Europeu Di Design, Re Jin moved to the US to pursue a career in fashion design and styling. Here she discovered her passion for home and product design.
Like her Brazilian and Korean heritage, fashion plays a major influence in her design aesthetics and also the way BDB's collections are created and presented.
