ANOMIE gives back

When I began ANOMIE, my goal was to create a business that gives back to the community. I had always planned to be a social worker, and giving up a career of service for a career in retail weighed heavily on my conscience. Thankfully, owning a business offers a unique opportunity to raise and donate money in ways I would not be able to otherwise. The working goal is to get the business to the point where were are able to sustain 10% of each month's profits donated to various charities and causes throughout our local and global community. For 2017 alone, we aim to break $5000 in charitable donations for the calendar year. I am happy to say that we are working towards that goal through donations, as well as creating charitable items that individually give back through each sale. -Chelsea

The S.E.A.N. Print by Our Heiday x ANOMIE // Raised $486 for Hope for Paws.

A very special collaboration piece in honor of my late brother, Sean, who passed away in June of 2014 at the age of 27. I decided to spread the values he cherished through a limited edition print, where all profits are donated to charity. Each line represents a way he lived his life (and encouraged us to live ours) and begins with a letter of his name: S to E to A to N. It's small tribute to a big life; where the messages are simple, but their impact can be huge. Share love, Enjoy your time, Appreciate family, and Never stop dancing.

This charity piece raised money for Hope for Paws to rescue animals off the street and from shelters. I chose to donate the profits to animal rescue, a cause that meant a lot to Sean after it brought him his best friend -- a little poodle terrier named Rosie.

Art print of original acrostic hand lettering by Patricia Shen, as commissioned by ANOMIE. A heartfelt thank you to Patricia for donating her time and skill towards the design of his piece.

Printed in full color on 11 x 14 inch cotton paper.

Limited run of 27 prints, one to represent each year of his life
